ABOUT VULPES NOIR
Vulpes Noir is "Black Fox" in Latin. In keeping with the character who I portray at Renaissance Festivals, I started using Vulpes Noir to watermark my online photographs in 2014, creating the first version of this website. At that time it was to be used as a portfolio of my work, rather than a business site.

In 2017, after retiring from my occupation as Art Director for several marketing and printing firms, I made the decision to up the ante as it were, and efforted the business you see here, offering my photographic talents to any who might need them.

As you can see by the expansive nature of this website (over 300 pages), I've been a photographer for the better part of my life and I'm not afraid to get a little dirty to get just the right photograph.

If you're looking for a photographer who's literally been in the trenches shooting film and has evolved to master digital photography, then look no further . . Vulpes Noir's Steve Kimball is that photographer.
